The City of Central will celebrate National Day of Prayer with a service on May 2, 2019 at 6:00pm at Blackwater United Methodist Church, 10000 Blackwater Rd. Citizens of all faiths are encouraged to gather together at this event.

There will be a public meeting to discuss the relocation of Central Private from Centerra Ct. to Gurney Rd between Sullivan Rd and Joor Rd (next to EBR Sheriff Substation). The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at 6pm at the current Central Private School Elementary Library on Centerra Ct. The new 1/2-cent MovEBR sales tax rate goes into effect April 1, 2019. The combined sales tax rate for Central is 10.45% (excluding groceries, prescriptions and utilities).
