Board of Adjustments Public Hearing March 23

The City of Central Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing on March 23, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd., Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s): 

BOA-6-17 This property is located at 15742 Four Oaks Drive on Lot 2-B of the Twin Oaks subdivision.  The applicant requests the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.1 D of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow the temporary occupancy of an existing flooded home while constructing a new home on the same lot in the (RA) Rural Agricultural Zoning District. (Applicant: Kathi Cowen) 

BOA-7-17 This property is located at 11726 Lovett Road on Tract D.  The applicant requests the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory building in excess of 1,600 square feet in the (RA) Rural Agricultural Zoning District. (Applicant: John Winkler) 

BOA-8-17 This property is located at 20947 Holmes Drive on Lot 95 of the Watson Farms subdivision.  The applicant requests the Board of Adjustments to grant variances to Section 18.1 (C) (3) (d) and the Section 2.1 (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow a variance to the side yard setback requirement for a mobile home in the (R1) Single Family Residential One Zoning District and to allow the temporary occupancy of an existing flooded mobile home while a new mobile home is being installed. (Applicant:: Leonard Hall) 

BOA-9-17 This property is located at 6547 Thibodeaux Road on land that was formerly the W.E. Bennett Tract on Tract 1.  The applicant requests the Board of Adjustments to grant a variance of Section 2.2 D (4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code to allow an accessory building in excess of 1,000 square feet in the (R1) Single Family Residential One Zoning District. (Applicant: Gurdon Camus)
