The City of Central Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s):

 

 

SS-8-17 Subdivision of Tract B-1 into Tracts B-1-A and Tract B-1-B. This property is located. on the south side of Woodrow Kerr Ln. between Beau Bois Drive to the east and Browning Road to the west in Section 25, T5S, R1E, GLD, EBR, LA. The applicant is requesting to subdivide one tract zoned (RA) Rural Agricultural Zoning District into two tracts and for a waiver to Section 7:13.6(9)d. of the Development Code, street improvement standards, for Residential Land Use.(Applicant: Natalie Hawkins)

Newsom Property, This property is located on the north side of Gurney Rd. between Joor Road on the east and Centerra Ct. on the west in Section 36 T5S, R1E, GLD, EBR, LA. PUD-1-17 Central Commerce Park: PUD Preliminary Plan. This property is located on the west side of Central Thruway between Greenwell Springs Road to the north and Frenchtown Road to the south located on Lot F-1-C-1-A of the Tommy Strain Property in Section 43, T6S, R2E, GLD, EBR, LA. The applicant is requesting to rezone a portion of the aforementioned tract from (R-2) Single Family Residential Two Zoning District to (ORD) Office, Retail and Development Zoning District through a conditional use PUD Preliminary Plan consisting of 26 industrial lots, a lot with a detention pond and open space and a commercial park fronting Central Thruway. RZ-3-17 Rezoning of Proposed Tracts D-2B-2 and 2-A of the J.A. Lesage Property from (RA) Rural Agricultural Zoning District to (ORD) Office, Research and Development Zoning District. This property is located on the west side of Central Thruway between Greenwell Springs Road to the north and Frenchtown Road to the south in Section 43, T6S, R2E, GLD, EBR, LA. The applicant is requesting a rezoning for the purpose of relocating an existing landscape business and to expand into other uses such as Office, Retail, Restaurant and Automobile repair. TA-2-17 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REENACT APPENDIX 1, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 2.2, SUBSECTION (D)(4), OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL RELATIVE TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND TO PROVIDE FOR ALL RELATED MATTERS (By Council Member Fralick)

 

TA-3-17 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REENACT APPENDIX 1, CHAPTER 7, SECTION 7.2, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL RELATIVE TO STANDARDS APPLICABLE TO PHARMACIES AND RESTAURANTS WITH DRIVE-THROUGH USES AND TO PROVIDE FOR ALL RELATED MATTERS (By Council Member Ellis)
