Landlords, Developers: Rental Program Seminars

The Louisiana Housing Corporation will release funding guidelines May 15 for both the Neighborhood Landlord Rental Program and the Multifamily Restoration Gap Program by issuing two separate Notifications of Funding Availability. Between the two programs, more than $74 million will be made available to landlords and developers to repair, reconstruct or create new rental units in Louisiana.
The two programs aim to provide additional rental housing units across the state especially in the 10 HUD-designated parishes that were most impacted and distressed from the 2016 flood events.

The Neighborhood Landlord Rental Program covers new and existing rental properties with seven or less units and the Multifamily Restoration Gap Program covers existing properties with 20 or more units. Pre-registration for seminars is required. You can also sign up by calling LHC at (888) 454-2001.
