Central Community Master Land Use Plan and Zoning Update

Visioning and Planning Open House

Where: Kristenwood Building, 14025 Greenwell Springs Road, Central, LA

Time: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

In 2010 Central adopted a new Land Use Plan, and in 2013 Central adopted a new Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. Now in 2018, the City has commended the process of updating both the plan and the code. The Central Master Land Use Plan and Zoning Update will inform and impact the community’s future and your lives, so the City is hosting this second public meeting/community engagement exercise to hear and learn about your thoughts on Central and your vision for the future.

On January 29th the Planning Team will hold a Visioning and Planning Open House. This Open House will provide an opportunity for residents, property owners, and those interested in the future of Central to participate in a series of interactive planning activities with the Planning Team that will focus on identifying future goals for planning, land use, infrastructure and community resources. Participants can show up at any point during the Open House, it will take approximately 30 minutes to complete all of the exercises. Please come out on January 29th as we roll up our sleeves with the Central community in continuing the process of updating the Community Vision, Master Land Use Plan, and Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Central.
