Recycling Collection Day changed

CHANGE IN RECYCLING COLLECTION DAY: As part of efforts to improve trash collection across East Baton Rouge Parish, Republic Waste has announced changes in collection days for RECYCLING BINS. Your recycling day will now be the same day as bulky/woody waste collections. This change mainly effects residents south of Hooper Rd and a portion of Greenwell Springs Rd north of Hooper Rd.

For example, if your woody waste/loose bags pickup day is Wednesday, your recycling day is Wednesday. This is mainly north of Hooper Rd (green area on map). If your woody waste/loose bag pickup collection day is Saturday, then recycling will now be picked up on Saturdays. This is mainly south of Hooper Rd in Central (pink area on map).
