Re: January 2022 Building Permit Report


Central, LA – In the month January 2022, there were 41 building permits issued in the city. This includes the following:


· One new home in Bellingrath Estates 4th filing valued (no valuation listed).

· One new home in Cypress Lakes at 14482 Dew Point Ave valued at $340,964.

· One new home in Hampton Village at 8230 Calverton (no value listed)

· Seven new homes in Village at Magnolia Square with an average valuation of $259,400.

· One new home at 14136 Devall Rd valued at $266,310.

· One new home at 15964 Brown Rd valued at $324,328.

· One new home at 16216 Frenchtown Rd valued at $334,950..

· One new home at 16564 Old Settlement Rd valued at $202,636.

· One new home at 4842 Thibodeaux Rd valued at $350,334.

· New commercial construction at 17552 Magnolia Bridge Rd valued at $750,000.

· New commercial construction at 9961 Sullivan Rd valued at $3,312,000.

· New commercial construction at 10748 Joor Rd valued at $8,009,472.


Additional permits include two residential additions, one residential building demolition, three residential detached buildings, two fences over 6 feet, one residential foundation repair, eight residential manufactured homes, one residential remodeling, and five residential swimming pool.


Total permit valuation for the month of January 2022 was $17,045,726. Valuations are set for building permit and tax assessor’s reasons and may not actually reflect the actual value of the structure after construction is complete.
