Re: March 2022 Sales Tax Collections Report

CENTRAL, LA - Monthly sales tax collections within Central for the month of March 2022 amounted to $674,142.40. This represents an 5.78% increase compared to March 2021 and marks the sixth month in a row of sales tax growth compared to 2021 figures.

Motor vehicles sales taxes on vehicle purchases for the month of March 2022 were $148,125.92. This represents a 7.87% decrease compared to March 2021.
