September 2021 Sales Tax Report

CENTRAL, LA - Monthly sales tax collections within Central for the month of September 2021 amounted to $612,236.56. This represents a 3.15% decrease compared to September 2020 and marks the first month in nineteen months to see a sales tax decrease compared year-to-year.

Motor vehicles sales taxes on vehicle purchases for the month of September 2021 were $144,755.45. This represents a 6.14% increase compared to September 2020.
