Thibodeaux Rd improvements update 3/16

Road work continues this week on Thibodeaux Rd with the mixing of soil cement into the roadbed. This will be a dusty process, but it is a necessary part of building a new roadway. Once the soil cement is mixed into the roadway, it will have to cure for at least 10 days to stabilize. Workers will place a thin layer of oil over the roadway to assist with the process as well. After this, the asphalt overlay can commence. Shoulder repairs, driveway repairs, mailbox replacements, and other cleanup activities will take place after the asphalt overlay finishes. The project is scheduled for completion by June 30, 2021.
