- East Baton Rouge Parish is under amoderate risk of heavy rainTuesday through Tuesday night.
- Slight risk of heavy rainfall for our area Wednesday through Wednesday night.
- The NWS is currently forecasting4-6” of rainfall for our area Tuesday night through Thursday morning with locally higher amounts possible.
- Flash flooding is likely across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi Tuesday night through Thursday.
- Timing for the heaviest rain is late afternoon hours on Tuesday into the day on Wednesday.
- The NWS has a high confidence that there will be thunderstorms across the area and that a few will produce heavy rainfall and cause flash flooding. However, they are less confident in exactly where the heaviest rainfall will occur. This will be dependent on exactly where the heaviest rain bands develop.
