On this beautiful day, we took the opportunity to check in on our crews. Val and Woody are currently working on a roadside project in Bougainvillea. Our teams are diligently restoring the drainage system in various neighborhoods to its original design specifications.
We appreciate your patience when encountering our crews, and a warm smile would certainly be welcomed. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Mayor at 225-413-6473.
Thank you for your support.

Planchet Road Update:
We would like to inform the community that our crews are currently installing the interlayer today, with a second application scheduled for tomorrow. The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) mandates a four-day curing period following the second application, after which asphalt will be applied next Tuesday. We kindly ask for your patience and consideration while driving in the area, as we aim to minimize excessive dust impact on nearby homes during this process.

When the Mayor took office, we realized that we had FEMA money from the 2016 flood that we were going to lose. We worked with our team and were able to apply the funds to a preventative maintenance truck for our roadside ditches. We are happy to introduce our new team member! We will be in neighborhoods near you, picking up leaves and debris so our localized drainage systems perform at their best. We want you to help name this beauty. Drop your suggestions in the comments. Keep it clean because that’s how this truck rolls.
